School Construction: Stage One Complete
Stage One works of our contemporary school building are complete and works are due to commence on Stage Two facilities in 2020.
Currently, our learning community offers 6 flexible General Learning Areas, break out spaces, a food technology kitchen and a generous multi-purpose room, which is used for a range of indoor learning opportunities, as well as assemblies, liturgies and Before / After School Care.
In addition to the newly completed Stage One works, Lisieux operates The Carmel Centre, a re-developed former home on site, as our Prep area. This space provides an excellent transition to Primary School, as it offers a home-like environment for school beginners.
A former shearing shed has been converted to The Discovery Centre, an outdoor learning space designed to support learning programs such as Outdoor Discovery, The Arts / 100 Languages, and The Growth Project. Students and parents were actively involved in the re-design of this space.
The images below show both architect images of Stage One and current photos of the learning space in action. The internal spaces are complemented by the provision of outdoor spaces, designed to encourage students to explore, create and imagine.
